It's not everyone who has a sister born on January 1st. It's even rarer to have two. Happy Birthday MOLLIE & SUZIE. Celebrating your birthdays has always superceded the beginning of another calendar year. Even with the big 2000 millinium celebration with the family your birthdays took precedent.
This coming year is full of potential successes and failures. We want our new president to succeed. We want to stem the tide on our economic decline. We want to bring our soldiers home from Iraq. We want to focus our efforts on global terrorism... properly this time. We want to end this year less of a debtor nation. We want to make huge inroads on rebuilding our infrastructure.
The good news is that all of these things are possible. It seems like most of us need a formula for success... a plan laid out in simple language that shows how each of us can contribute effectively. I suspect that such a plan will become evident as the New Year begins.
HUNTER plays the final 2008 game on December 30th. It is a home game and I look forward to spending some time with most of you at the Expo Center in Claremore.
